The standard we hold ourselves to

Every paralegal at Ontario Eviction Services is in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. We carry professional liability insurance through LawPRO equivalent coverage. We complete continuing professional development every year as required by the Law Society. We hold ourselves to the Paralegal Rules of Conduct on every file.

Practice focus

Our practice is exclusively residential landlord work. We do not represent tenants. We do not take Small Claims matters outside landlord context. We do not practice criminal, family, immigration, or civil litigation. The narrow focus is the point. It is the reason we move fast and predict outcomes accurately.

Areas of authorized practice

• Representation before the Landlord and Tenant Board (Tribunals Ontario)
• Representation in Ontario Small Claims Court for monetary claims up to $35,000
• Drafting and review of residential tenancy agreements and related schedules
• Eviction notice preparation and service under the Residential Tenancies Act 2006
• Pre litigation negotiation and structured tenant dispute mediation

How to verify our licensing

The Law Society of Ontario maintains the public Directory of Licensees at lso.ca. Every active paralegal in Ontario is listed by name and licence number. We provide our individual licence numbers on engagement and they appear on every retainer agreement.
